Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Run has been downloaded more than 40 million times in four days. Which is of course another record for an app on the iOS App Store.
However, the company did not reveal how much money those 40 million downloads generated. Fortunately, there are third party sales trackers and estimates out there like App Annie, who predicts that the game made $14 million during its first three days on the market.
And there is no doubt that people are actually buying the game and not just playing the demo: according to Apple, the game is in the top 10 highest grossing apps in over 100 countries.
