Thimbleweed Park is an old-school point & click adventure game, which pays tribute to classics developed by LucasArts and released at the turn of the 1990s, such as Maniac Mansion. Thimbleweed Park was developed by an independent team led by two veterans of the industry – Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick.
The titular Thimbleweed Park is a town the game is set in. It was once a prosperous business area, but today it is definitely past its prime – not a particularly lively place, which exists without a good purpose.
What also builds the atmosphere in Thimbleweed Park are the five playable characters. At the very beginning, the player is acquainted with two detectives called in to investigate a case of a body found in a river just outside the town. The third character – Dolores, gets acquainted with the testament of her rich uncle. A clown called Ransome, who wanders around a devastated circus suffering from a curse that makes them unable to get rid of the make-up and clothes is the fourth figure. The last character is called Franklin – he wakes up on the 13th floor of the Edmund hotel in Thimbleweed Park, and to his surprise, discovers that he is actually dead. The player can switch between the characters at any time. The game offers many endings, hundreds of locations for the player to visit, as well as two difficulty levels.
What makes Thimbleweed Park an old-school game are both its pixelated, 8-bit graphics and an interface resembling the 1980s’ products.

While the visitors at gamescom 2016 can have a hands-on experience with Thimbleweed Park demo, those who are left home can enjoy a new story trailer for Ron Gilbert’s upcoming adventure game.
It is best to complete the game in Hard mode, which contains more locations and puzzles.
- At the beginning of the game you can select difficulty level. This choice has great impact on the game. In casual mode many locations and puzzles are cut out. The game is much simpler, but you won’t discover many attractions and nuances of the game world. It is much better to play in Hard Mode and help yourself with this guide whenever it is needed (the solution was created based on hard mode).
- Very frequently, many locations and items found in the game aren’t currently needed. Use the titles of various chapters as hints about on what you should currently focus.
- Try visiting each place and speaking to everyone with various characters. Sometimes there are difficult interactions available for different protagonists.
- The game provides subtle hints. You should check each item, speak to other characters. You will usually receive information about what to do.
- Focus on the “to do list” of each protagonist. It contains objectives and it pushes the player in the right direction.
- Have fun! The game is a unique experiment focused on resurrecting the classic adventure games and it completes the task perfectly. Read the funny dialogues, think, control the group of crazy characters and the game will become a gorgeous, nostalgic adventure.
Pick up the rock and use it to break the lamp.
At the beginning of the game you will encounter a drunken man named Willie. Speak to him. Sadly, you won’t learn anything interesting because the man will go to sleep. Open the gate and go to the right. Pick up the rock from the river and use it to break the lamp above the sign. Then keep going to the right… this won’t end too well for the character you control.
It’s common knowledge that nothing makes the situation more interesting than a mystery related to a corpse. Time to start the great adventure!
Part 2 – The Body
This time you will play as two federal agents – Antonio Reyes and Angela Ray. Notice that you can switch between the characters by using the upper right corner of the screen.

Take a photo of the corpse.
As Ray, check the corpse on the ground. Then, as Reyes, give Polaroid film from your equipment to Ray.
As Ray, combine Polaroid Film with Polaroid Camera and take a photo of the corpse.
Pick up the empty Whiskey bottle that can be found under the sign as any character.
Go to the left with both characters, open the gate and go up the path.
Speak to the women dressed as giant pigeons and keep going to the right.
Pick up the plastic rings that can be found near the road. Then pick up the bottle a while further and go to the city.
Search sheriff’s and coroner’s rooms very thoroughly.
You will reach the titular city, Thimbleweed Park. Go to the right until you encounter the sheriff. After a short conversation you will enter together the nearby building. Go to the coroner and speak with him about the machine in his office.
After speaking with the coroner, walk towards each of the “3000” series machines and speak with them about their main functions.
Walk towards the drawers at the entrance and take fingerprint kit from the bottom one.
Go to sheriff’s office and speak with him. Then walk towards the drawers at the entrance and take fingerprint book from the middle one.
Leave the city hall and go to the right. Speak with the women dressed as pigeons. You will learn about the water malfunction problem.
You will find Dime next to the blinking lantern – you can easily miss it on the ground.
Keep going to the right. You will find dime on your way (it lays near the blinking lantern). Once you reach the pub, enter inside. Then keep talking to Sandy until you start speaking about Ransom, a suspicious clown. Retrospection will start and you will take control of the vulgar clown.
Search through Ransom’s room and read the notes on the board.
You have a few things to do in the trailer: pick up the pink note (IOU) from the table, pick up the Ransom poster from the wall (this will uncover the vault), take the clown nose from the toy on the bed. Then walk outside and speak to your agent.
Go to the left, leave the area and enter the backstage entrance.
Walk towards the desk and take care of your look: use the makeup, hair gel, then walk towards the jar with money and take 138 dollars from it. Leave outside.
You won’t get your book with jokes until you pay your debts.
Keep going to the left until you reach Carney Joe. Speak to him and you will learn that he won’t give you your book with jokes back until you pay your debt.
Go back to your trailer and take the second note from the board. It’s a hint related to the vault combination.
Walk towards the vault and use the following combination: 3-2-12 (the code can be different, check the pink paper with the hint!). Then take 1000 dollars.
Clown’s show will prove to be very bad for him.
Go back to Carney Joe and give him all of his money. You will reclaim your book with jokes.
Go to the backstage entrance, wear the clown’s nose and enter the stage.
Your task is to insult the crowd. Select offensive lines until Ransom irritates an elder woman… which will be his mistake. He will be cursed and from now he won’t be able to remove the clown makeup.
Return to the feds
Ask the shopkeeper about WC67.
You will return to Ray and Reyes. Leave the location and enter the nearby alley.
Walk towards the trash can… and an unpleasant situation will happen to the character you control. Switch to the second character and go to the alley. Pick up the notebook of the missing agent from the ground.
Go back to the alley, turn right and go to B Street. Go to the right until you reach Ricki’s Cake… where you can buy pipes. Ask the seller about WC67 and then deliver the part to the women dressed as pigeons.
Trade the empty bottle for 10 cents.
You will unlock access to A Street. However, don’t go there yet. Keep going to the right until you reach Quickie Pal. Enter inside and speak with Leonard about all available topics. Give him the bottle and you will obtain a shinny nickel. Go outside. Stand next to the manhole and switch to the second character.
As the character in the sewers, go deeper into the tunnel, then up the ladder. Speak with the character on the surface. Then make sure that the character in the sewers has Dime in the equipment (if the character on the surface has it, use it on the manhole and it will be dropped into the sewers).
In the sewers, move back to the starting location and go to the left. You will reach a red chest on the wall. Don’t use the camera yet, but look at the inscription on the wall.
Switch to the second character and go to B Street. Keep going to the right until you reach a phone booth with a phonebook. Check the number to Pablo J. Moles and then take control of the character in the sewers again.
Dial number 3177 (the number can be different – check the wall to make sure you got the right last name and find it in the phone book) in order to call for help. Then go to the right and you will encounter the sheriff who will free you. Once again you will be able to control both characters on the surface – give the notebook you picked up to the agent that was imprisoned in the sewers.
Select one of the characters and go to B Street. Then go to the right. You will encounter a woman sitting on a bench. Speak with her about the murder and retrospection will start. This time you will control Dolores.
Pick up girl’s favorite magazine.
Leave the room and go down the mansion. Go outside and towards the mailbox. Soon after that a postman will appear with girl’s favorite magazine.
Go back to Dolores’ room and turn the computer on. Then use it to start an application interview with a company that develops video games. At some point you will reach harder questions, leave them for now – pause the application.
Go downstairs, to the entrance door and take the letter to Chuck from the postman. Go to the floor with many doors, go to the right and enter the last door at the end of the corridor.
You will witness a quarrel between Chuck and his brother. Speak to him and take the ink bottle from the desk.
Go to the bottom of the house and enter the door under the stairs. You will reach the kitchen. Open one of the upper shelves and take glass from it. Then open the fridge and take all the items from inside.
Prepare yourself for the application interview by using the book.
Now go upstairs and enter the library. Use the nearby computer and find information about the company you wish to work for. Walk towards the windy stairs and take the plate hanging nearby. Now go upstairs.
Walk towards the section 3.1 and find “MMucas Programming Primer“. Open the book and take it with you. Go back to girl’s room.
Resume answering the application questions. Select the following answers: 256, Cooperative, 8, True (some questions can be different, check the manual to learn the right answers). Sadly, a new problem will occur – the printer will be out of ink.
Place the firewood in the fireplace, then use gas can and hot sauce on it.
Now go to Uncle Chuck and ask him about the ink to the printer. Then leave the room, go downstairs and leave the building.
Pick up the gas can and the firewood near the mansion. Go inside, to the right and pick up the items for the fireplace. Then use the hot sauce and the girl will breathe fire towards the fireplace.
Go outside and return to the fireplace – you will find only ashes. Pick up fine black soot and use it on the glass. Then use gas can on the item – you will obtain ink. Use it on the empty bottle taken from Uncle Chuck’s office.
Use the printer to print the application.
Pick up the piece of paper from the printer, place it again in the machine and then use the ink on the machine. Use the computer again in order to print the job application. Take the letter from the device.
Go to the kitchen and use the glass on the tap. You will fill it with water. Then open the microwave and place the glass of water and Uncle Chuck’s letter inside. Activate the device and then take the items from inside it.
Use the sticker on the letter, go outside and place it in the mailbox. Once you receive the letter, go to your room and open it. Then go to Uncle Chick and tell him about the positive outcome. This will end Dolores sequence.
End of the retrospection – return to the feds
Use the radio to trick the female journalist.
As one of the federal agents, go to A Street and enter the post building. Pick up the sticky tape and speak with the employee. Then leave the building and speak with the nearby drunken man – Willy. The man will agree to give you the wallet if you find something to replace it.
Go to the right after the conversation and speak to Madame Morena in her shop.
Select one of the characters and use it to go to sheriff’s room in the city hall. The second character (make sure it has shiny nickel in its equipment) must go to Nickel News. Walk towards the Policetron 3000 and press the machine. You will learn that the woman is waiting for important information related to a specific case. Switch to the other character and use the radio to give the journalist information she is waiting for.
Once the journalist runs out, walk towards the map as the second character and take it to the equipment. Then use it on the copy machine and throw the coin inside it. Take the copy of the map and place the original map back on the wall.
With the map you can keep going to the right until you reach the border of the city. Keep going and the sheriff will appear. He won’t let you pass without the map – luckily you have it. After the conversation the chapter will end.
Use the map to quickly move between locations.
Remember that now you can use the map from your equipment to quickly move to new locations. It will make the exploration and solving puzzles much quicker. Once you unlock the next character, use it to go to Quickie Pal and take the map from the desk (there is enough pieces for every character).
Use the map and go to the hotel. Once you enter inside, you will meet the reporter you already know. Speak with her and new retrospection will start, this time starring Chuck’s brother.

- Return to the investigation
Prepare the room for the meeting with the investor.
Enter the hotel and speak with the familiar looking manager. Then go to the right and turn the boom box off. This will enable you to speak with the boy. When you start talking about the fashion, select the following options: I know this gnarly dude who…, was on MTV and…, tells me what’s wicked… This will gain you respect from the kid who will agree to trade. Give him one of the teddies from the equipment and in exchange he will give you glasses.
Wear the glasses and the mustache and speak to the receptionist. Sign in the hotel and go to floor 11 to your room with number 1106 (Franklin’s room). Inside you must look around. Franklin will notice that he is observed.
Now enter the elevator and go to floor 10. Take two photos from the board and go back to your room. Use bubble gum on the camera and then use standard room photo on it. Before leaving the room, take stanioners from the table.
Drive back to floor 10 and enter the rooms. Take stanioners from each of them. You need four pieces of paper. Deliver them to the receptionist and copy the documents. Once all is done, use the elevator to go back to your room and call for investors.
Return to the investigation
Take the passport from the table.
Once the retrospection is over, you must go back to the hotel, finish the conversation with the journalist and then speak to the receptionist. Take the access key to Franklin’s room and go to the elevator.
First go to floor 7 to room 705. Take the passport from the table. Then enter the elevator and go to floor 11. Enter room 1106 and leave it immediately – this will trigger a cutscene. Once it is all done, you will unlock a new character – Franklin’s ghost.
Use the tap to scare the child and one of the agents.
Call the elevator to 11th floor. Enter inside and switch to the ghost. Enter the elevator as him as well and ride to the ground floor. Wait for the boy to start drinking and use “splash” on him. This will scare him.
Repeat the trick with one of the agents – walk towards the sink as one of the feds and drink water. Then switch to Franklin and freeze the water. This will complete the task of scaring two hotel guests.
Go to the watched guest and start haunting his room.
The receptionist will start observing the guests through his computer. Sneak up on him as Franklin and look at the computer when the hotel employee will be using it. You will learn in which room the guest is – go there as Franklin.
Start haunting the room. Use the Zap command to turn the lamps on and spill the water in the bathroom.
Switch to the character in the lobby and give the business card to the receptionist. Switch back to the ghost and repeat the action for him to summon the pigeon brothers. Once they come, switch to the federal agent, go to the service room and take WrenchTron 3000 from the toolbox.
You will find many items in Clown’s trailer.
Now go to the next location on the map – the old circus. Walk towards the gate and speak to Ransom. This will unlock him as a playable character. Switch to him.
While in the trailer, you can collect many items: Ransom the Clown comic from under the bed, joke book and page from the vault (first you must remove the poster from the wall), cheese from the fridge, attempted delivery notice and lawyer’s card from the board. Finally use the mirror and try to remove the makeup again.
Leave the trailer and go to the left. Go to the location with the popcorn and then to the left, to the popcorn stand. Pick up the popcorn box and start gathering the crumbles from the ground. Then follow the rat to Big Top Entrance. Inside you must place the cheese under the hole on the left side.
Place the cheese under the hole and you will obtain some popcorn.
Leave the room and walk back inside – next to the cheese you will find some popcorn. Pick it up and go back to your trailer. Open the microwave and give the popcorn to your hamster.
Now go to backstage entrance and take anti-itch creme from inside and snake in a box from the desk.
Now go as the clown to the city, to the post office. Speak with the employee and take the package. Open it and you will receive two items, including a wallet. Give it to one of the federal agents.
Go to Chuck’s office and examine it thoroughly.
Then go to Franklin’s mansion. Enter it and you will unlock the fifth and final character – Dolores. Select the girl and check her to do list. Go to the library and you will learn that you must call the detective.
Go to Uncle Chuck’s old atelier. Take receipt and Chuck’s Journal from the desk. Then move the painting and collect office key located behind it. On the ledge you will also find Philipp’s Dangerous Device and next to it AT-25 Tube.
Go to the girl’s room and take math trophy and red gel decoder from the bookshelf. Look at the board above the computer. Now go to the bottom floor, to the fireplace and collect the ashes. For now this is all you need to do as the girl. Switch to a federal agent who has Ransom’s wallet.
Pick up the very well hidden chainsaw.
Give the wallet back to Willy in Street A and you will receive the wallet filled with blood. Now go to the crime scene and then to the right. In the bushes you will find used chainsaw. The item is very hard to find (check the above picture) and additionally you must obtain fuel for it. Go to Chuck’s mansion, you will find a canister next to the entrance. Fill the chainsaw with fuel and go to the bough that is blocking the passage on the right from the corpse. Use the chainsaw on the tree.
Take the crime tool from the cardboard house.
You will unlock access to the sewers. Enter inside and turn the light on. Enter the tunnel on the right side and explore the sewers. You should check each path and collect many specks of dust. You will reach a room filled with items, collect ice pick from the cardboard house and magic mushrooms from the corner. Then go outside (you can use a map).
Make sure that one of the federal agents has ice pick (from the sewers), ashes (from the fireplace) and sticky tape (from the post office). Combine the ice pick with the ashes and then with the sticky tape – you will obtain a footprint.
Enter the toilet and take the toilet paper.
Now go to Quickie Pal. Don’t walk inside, but enter the nearby toilet. Turn the light on and take the toilet paper. Now go to the corpse and use the paper on it to take a blood sample. Go back to the toilet and use the blood on the dryer to obtain bloody toilet paper.
You can finally create all reports! Go to the city hall and to coroner’s office. Walk towards the Fingertron 3000 and use the tape with the fingerprint and the list of all fingerprints of nearby people. On the Facetron 3000 you can use the hotel passport and the corpse photo. On the Bloodtron 3000 you must use the wallet with blood from Willy and the toilet paper.
Use the tube on the machine to create a crime report.
Go to sheriff’s office and look at Arresttron 3000. You will discover that it is missing a power tube. Select Dolores and go to B Street, to the post office. Speak with the shopkeeper and you will obtain a tube puller. Go with it to Quickie Pal and use it on the Movietron 3000’s tube.
Now go to Franklin’s mansion and to Chuck’s office. Pull another tube from the head of the robot. Now go to sheriff’s office and use A25 Tube on the Arresttron3000. Place all three reports inside it.
After the cutscene you will speak with Willy and the chapter will end.
The federal agents will come back to the city.
Switch to Franklin and enter the elevator. Speak to Clara and you will learn that she is hungry. Then ride to the ground floor. Go to the newly opened room with ThimbleCon’87. Speak to Vergil and ask for a piece of the cake. Tell him that it’s for Clara.
Switch to Dolores, go to the hotel and try entering the convention. You will learn that you need a ticket that can be won in a radio broadcast. Now switch to Ranstom and walk through the locations until a cutscene starts.
Now you will control the federal agents. Receive a voice mall as each of them. Go outside as the agents and they will meet and start talking with each other. Then each of them will walk in a separate direction and you will regain control of the five characters.
Go to the city as one of the feds and you will encounter a man dressed up as pizza. Speak with him and then intimidate him that he can be arrested. Pick up the pizza coupon. Now go to B Street and pick up the phone in the booth.
Restart the phone line of the radio station.
Now it’s time for a trick. Go as Dolores to the Radio Station. Use Tube puller to pull the tube from the machine and then put it back in. Now switch to the female federal agent and use her cell phone. Call number 7286 (make sure it’s the same number in your playthrough – check the radio station number in the phone book).. You will receive random questions during the broadcast. You must answer correctly to two of three questions in order to gain the tickets.
Go to the hotel reception to claim the tickets. Now go to the convention as Ransom. Speak to Ken Thien and agree to exchange the first edition of Ransom comic for hint book. Now walk towards Sexy Riker and answer “Star Trek” to his question – you will receive a miniature ship in a bottle.
On the convention there are many interactions and an important conversation with Brant.
Now enter the convention as Dolores. Speak to Brant and you will learn that Chuck hasn’t paid for his service. Go to Chuck’s mansions, then to his office. Use “open” on the book on his desk. You will obtain check stub. Go to the bank (a newly opened building in the city) and deliver the check stub to the employee.
Now go to the lawyer on the convention. He will go to the mansion, follow him and go to the library. You will learn about the requirements and tasks that must be completed for the testament to be read.
Collect the thimbleberries and give them to the employee of the pipe shop.
First take care of the cake. Go to the city, to Street B. Enter the pipe shop. Ask the shopkeeper about the cake and you will gain a special glove. Now go to the trailhead and walk to the right across the path. Soon you will reach a thimbleberry bush, use the glove on it. Go back to the shopkeeper and you will receive thimbleberry pie.
Go back to Dolores’ room and pick up Graphics Basics located next to the computer. Use the item on the computer to load the program. Use Chuck’s testament on the computer.
Turn the television on by using “Zap” and switch to the cat canal.
Go back to Franklin. Use “chill” on the cake and give it to Dolores in the elevator. Then go to the penthouse and speak with the ghost above. Go back to Dolores and speak with her about all topics. Go to floor 10 and use “zap” to switch to cat canal. This will save the ghost from the elevator.
Take the cursed book.
Use any living character to go to the penthouse and open the secret door. Now go as Dolores or one of the feds to the witch shop in the city. Pull the ladder to the right and climb up. Collect the glowing book and go to the cemetery. Take the flowers next to the grave.
Go with the flowers and the book to the penthouse and enter the secret room. Place the items on the pedestal and then read the spells from the book as Franklin.
Open the door to the Chuck’s sarcophagus.
You will move to the cemetery. Enter the grave and open it (zip on the switch). Switch to Dolores and go to the female journalist in the city. Search the newspapers and you will find an article with Chuck’s lucky number – 17 (the number is random and it might be different in your playthrough!).
Go to Dolores room and use the testament on her computer again. In the dialogue you must select number 17, this will decipher the testament.
Go to the library and tell the lawyer that you completed all requirements of the dead man. This will initiate the next chapter.
Part five – The Reading
The chapter has a form of a very short cutscene in which Chuck’s testament is read. However, something is wrong as the will is very strange… it’s time to take a closer look at the case.
Make a distraction by calling the banker as Franklin.
First, select one of the characters and go to the bank. Stand near the office and the employee who is receiving the calls. Now switch to Franklin, enter any hotel room with a phone, use “Zap” on it and select Safely First Bank from the phone book.
Switch to the character in the bank and take the factory key and animal paperweight. Now go to the abandoned factory and use the key on the lock. Enter the facility. Go to the archway and turn left. Place the math trophy under the radioactive exhalation. Now enter the door on the left side.
Keep picking the paper from the ground until you find handbook. For now this is all you can do in the factory.
Willie can fix Reyes’ watch.
Switch to Antonio Reyes and go to sheriff’s office. Speak with the imprisoned Willie about the clock you received in a package. You will learn that he can fix it for you if you deliver proper tools to him. Now go as Reyes to the third floor of the hotel.
Now go as all characters to the pub in the city. Order a hot-dog as each character until you eat all the available ones. Then order a hamburger and bring it to the guy dressed as a Star Trek character at the convention. Once he starts feeling bad, follow him and you will learn the number of his hotel room.
Switch to Franklin and use “zap” on the door of the convention guy’s room. Enter the room as Reyes and take jeweler’s tools from the table. Now go back to Willie and give him the tools. Sadly, you must change the radio station to his favorite music so that he can focus on his work.
Belay the clown as Dolores.
Switch to Ransome and go to the old circus.
Enter your trailer, open the vault and collect all pages from inside. Go outside and push the trampoline as far to the left as possible. Then switch to Dolores and join the clown in the location. Switch back to Ransome, walk on the stairs on the left and jump on the trampoline. Press the last page in the air and then use all of them on the book with jokes.
Go to the convention hall in the hotel and participate in the competition as Ransome. No matter what you say, you will be third and you will win Syken theremin record.
Walk on the top of the tower as Ransome and pull the lever.
Make sure that Reyes is standing next to Willie. Then select Ransome and any other character (let’s say that it will be Dolores) and go with them to the radio station.
Give the competition reward to Dolores and climb as Ransome on the tower that is located on the right from the radio station. Pull the lever and switch to Dolores. Walk into the studio, go behind the console and place the music into the left panel. Then pull the lever and theremin music will start playing in the whole city. Switch to agent Reyes and give the watch to Willie. He will finally agree to fix it.
Use the fixed watch on the panels.
Now go as one of the characters to the factory area and enter the door near panel 3. Inside you will find pieces of paper scattered across the ground. Pick up all of them and you will find a handbook. Inside it you will find a phone number. Call it. You will learn the access code to first station. Now go to the first panel in the factory and use the fixed watch on it. Now use it to select the time you heard through the phone.
Now walk towards the second station and set time that is five minutes later than in the first station. Similarly, add another five minutes in the station three.
Now walk to the old vehicle and use Wrenchstron3000 on it (how to obtain it is described in previous chapters, you must call Pigeon Brothers to the hotel). Then pick up a truck battery.
Use the radioactive waste on the puddle and follow the trail.
Now go to the forest and use the radioactive waste on the puddle. Leave the location and return to it and you will notice footprints. Follow them. You will reach a secret location with a bunker. Use the battery on the electric fence and it will be charged. Go back with the battery to the truck from which you had taken it. Place it back in its place. Walk towards the panel and set the time as five minutes later than in the previous one.
Walk towards the main door in the factory and look at the missing pipe as Dolores. Now go to the pipe shop in the city and talk to the shopkeeper. Give away the undershirt you received as a fall and go back to the factory door.
Expand the door and walk inside as Dolores.
Put the obtained part into DoorTron3000. This will activate the door. Sadly, it will be blocked. Select Ransome and the federal agents and order them to expand the door by selecting “use”. There will be enough space for Dolores to slip through. Once you enter the factory, the chapter will end.
The book in the library contains solution to how to place the plugs.
Walk down the ladder as Dolores and to the left. Try passing through the corridor with robots – you will fail. Go to Edmund Mansion, to the library. Use the book searcher. Go to section 2.1 and find the book “Programming the SR-01″.
Read the manual and go back to the factory. Gown down and walk towards the panel. Then set everything according to the solution from the book. Enter the production hall and keep going to the left until you reach a corridor with door. Use the key from Chuck’s office (Offis key) on the brown door.
Walk inside and pick up Chuck’s Journal: Vol2, used glass and hat.
Go to the mysterious meeting and take the gift.
Now go as one of the federal agents to the city and speak to the man dressed as pizza. Intimidate him that he can be arrested and he will drop a pizza plate. Go to the seckrit bunker in the forest and use the code on the panel which you can obtain from the badge.
Switch to Ransome, enter the Van and go underground. Go to the left, participate in the meeting and collect the goodie bag. Open the gift and you will obtain foil-wrapped brick and hacker boot disc.
Give the disk to Dolores and use it on the computer in the factory. Then deliver the used glass to the agent who has fingerprint kit. Use the set on the glass and you will discover Chuck’s footprints on it. Now go to the post office, take the piece of the sticky tape again and use it on the glass.
You could have obtained the Hint book on the convention. All you had to do was offer the first edition of the comic that you could find in Ransome’s room.
Give the footprint on the tape to Dolores and go to Chuck’s office in the mansion. Use the footprints on the vault and take the black book from inside it. Inside you will find passwords to all Chuck’s computers.
Now use the red gel decoder (from Dolores’ room) on the hunt book (which Ransome can obtain by giving away the first print of his comic). You will learn how to break the computer with the adventure game.
Go back to the computer in the factory. Enter the password you obtained in the office and select adventure. Select the following options: go west, look around, go west, go to light, go north, say “fizzscum” (in your case the combination can be different – check the hint book). This will brick the computer. The factory will be closed and the chapter will end.
Hat + aluminum are a great laser protection.
Open foil-wrapped brick and you will find explosives inside it. Place it on the metal door. Now use Ransome’s Candy Dispenser on the explosive.
Walk through the door and go to the right. Use the red button on the wall. Keep going to the right until you reach the laser corridor. Put the aluminum on the pirate hat, then wear it and go right. You will be completely safe and the lasers won’t harm you.
Turn the fan off by calling the nearby number as Franklin.
You will reach the room with a giant fan. Next to him you will find a badge with a number. Switch to Franklin, go to any room and use “zap” on the phone. Select the above number and you will deactivate the fan.
Walk through the stopped fan as Dolores. Switch back to Franklin and select the same number to activate the fan. Switch to the girl and go up the ladder so that the rest of the crew can join you.
Use the Strange Tool on the slot next to the door in order to walk inside and finish the duel with Uncle Chuck.
Use Strange Tool as Agent Reyes on the slot next to the door. Walk inside as Dolores.
Keep pressing the tubes until only one remains. Time for a really surprising reveal. You will participate in a long dialogue with Chuck after which the chapter will end.
Finally, Franklin will find the courage to speak about what he is feeling.
Each character obtained the final objective to complete in order to finish the game. Let’s start with Franklin.
Go to the Penthouse and face Xavier. You will obtain a crystal. Go to the secret room, then switch to Dolores and join the hotel top. Let the father and the daughter speak freely for the last time and Franklin will pass to the afterlife.
Now it’s time for Ransome. Go to the dinette and deliver the paper with apologize to the shopkeeper. Retrospection will start. Walk on the scene. This time don’t insult anyone and make sure the jokes aren’t aggressive. You can insult others for the achievement and then load the game.
As Agent Reyes, go to Nickel News and deliver Chuck’s testimony to the reporter. This will clear her father’s name.
On the convention you will find mysterious data that will teleport the Agent from the game.
Time for agent Ray. Go to the convention in the hotel and deliver the statue to the only person in the hall. Now pick up the diagram and you will be teleported out of the game.
Dolores’ finale is a journey through completely old school locations. Your final destination is to pass through the factory and press 8 tubes.
As Dolores you must walk to the corpse at the beginning of the game and use the balloon on it (the hint to the riddle could be found in the kickstarter trailer of the game). Go back to the highway and go to the right. Walk through the city and into the factory. Walk inside and pass through the corridors to wireframePillowTron. Enter the device and start pressing all the tubes.
The game will end and the credits will roll. Wait for them to end and you will obtain an achievement. Congratulations, you managed to complete the game!
