While those of us in the rest of the world are probably familiar with Toyota as a vehicle manufacturer, did you know the company also has a Home division in Japan? The company is celebrating 40 years of producing homes for the people of Japan by hosting a special event that also features Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Visitors to the Toyota Home Exhibition Building in Japan can compete in the game and there will be a lottery with at least 200 winners. The grand prize winner will receive a Nintendo Switch console, while five runners-up will receive a Mario Kart 8 figure set. The rest will get what the translator of the news believes to be some sort of notepad. Not bad!

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a car company partner with Nintendo to promote Mario Kart 8, either. Remember the Mercedes DLC partnership that was first announced for Japan? Those cars are now in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by default!
