This evening Nintendo issued another patch to Zelda: Breath of the Wild, bringing the version number up to 1.1.1. It seems this patch addressed some of the framerate issues that players have been reporting experiencing in dense areas. One developer mentioned a few days ago that he thought most of the framerate issues seemed to be from software issues rather than hardware issues.
The improvements seen between the two versions of the game seem to indicate that there has been some significant improvements in that department, so it’s nice to see Nintendo is listening to feedback and continuing to improve the performance of the game.
Now that the patch is available, have you noticed any framerate improvements in your game since you downloaded the patch? Let us know in the comments.
