Our Top 3 Games of 2016

What use is a top 10 when only 3 get medals

2016 is coming to a close and there have been so many brilliant games released in the past 12 months, however only 3 can get medals so this is our top 3.

Number 3 — Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

The franchise that defined FPS, well if you discount Halo but we are a long way from Halo. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare brings the series into space with dog fighting in your space plane. The writing is especially good, something that has been lacking a little bit in past games.

Graphically the game shines, and if you have a PS4 Pro you can crank up the detail even more

Number 2 — Titanfall 2

Titanfall 1 was a spectacular game however it lacked any kind of real single player story driven campaign.

However Titanfall 2 offers all the same great play mechanics, multilayer modes and this time brings an amazing campaign that will keep gamers entertained for hours.

Number 1 — Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

The top prize goes to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The game is simply astonishing with graphics and gameplay that stands above the crowd.

The story and character acting are the real stars though and Naughty Dog has done a wonderful job bringing Nathan and his brother Sam to life in a natural way.

It’s on sale sale now on PS4 for only €27.99 as a digital purchase so if you get the chance… buy it now.

Honourable Mention — Battlefield 1

An honourable mention must be said about Battlefield 1. A true return to form for the series which sees players take control of tanks, planes and even a dove, yes you get to be a dove.

Graphically and sonically the game is great, we’ll worth you hard earned cash.
